Franklin was born and raised in Chicago and is proud to be a “WESTSIDER”. He has over 30 years experience working with numerous community organizations and churches across the city. His passion is to develop the next generation of leaders. You can often find Franklin drawing inspiration from a new book or thought provoking film. His favorite books are Race Matters by Cornel West and Theirs is the Kingdom by Robert Lupton. His favorite superhero is SpiderMan, and his favorite movies are The Social Network and Akeelah and the Bee. Franklin is an alum of the Moody Bible Institute and Trinity Divinity School.
