Curshodda

Curshodda Dickerson came to One on One looking to gain her Permanent Employee Registration Card (PERC) to qualify to work as a security guard. Through the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Development’s Job Training and Economic Development program, Curshodda participated in a two-week security training with Paramount Security Analytics Training Academy.

Throughout Curshodda's job search, her employment coach sent her security job leads and hiring events. With support from her Employment Coach, Curshodda was approved for her PERC Card in September of 2025, and was hired as a full-time security guard at Titan Security by the end of the year. 

We are so proud of Curshodda and her motivation to give back to the local economy, her family, and herself.
